Rates
$170 per 53 minute session for individuals; Intake (1st) session is $200.
$205 per 50 minute session for couples; Intake (1st) session is $250
$65 per 80 minute group session
A detail of other relevant fees as outlined by the No Surprises Act will be provided to client as part of their intake paperwork.
Insurance
With the exception of Aetna, I am considered an out of network provider for which most insurance companies will offer reimbursement, but some may not. I can provide you with a monthly statement (often called a ‘superbill’) that reflects the amount you are paying for counseling along with the necessary codes. However, I do not interact directly with the insurance companies to seek reimbursement for you. In order to be reimbursed, insurance companies require I provide a diagnosis which will be part of your health record. I’m happy to answer any questions you might have.
Please note that even with Aetna, with whom I am in network, I do not work directly with them in any way. Instead I work with a third party, Headway. I can discuss further as needed.
Also note that I have opted out of Medicare. Clients with Medicare benefits will not be able to be reimbursed for my services.
Payment
I accept cash, check and plastic cards (credit, debit, HSA, Flex Spending, etc..) as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 46 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session. No shows are charged the full rate of the session as well.
